8th District
In what media outlets are calling a "redistricting bonanza," North Carolina GOP legislators have approved new US Congressional districts that target four current Democrat office-holders. The redrawn lines have jeopardized the incumbencies of current Congressmen Larry Kissell (D-8), Brad Miller (D-13), Mike McIntyre (D-7), and Heath Shuler (D-11).
The potential for North Carolina to pick up three to four seats in the 2012 elections will keep national attention riveted on Congressional campaigns in the Old North State.
This is an opportunity for conservatives to nominate a tested, tried, and true Republican. Tea Party and conservative Republican activists in the new 8th Congressional District have formed a groundswell of support around outspoken leader Vernon Robinson.
"With the national debt passing $15 Trillion, unfunded liabilities surpassing $100 Trillion, and a radical Socialist in the White House, our nation finds itself at a crossroads of crisis. Americans need leaders who are committed to upholding the Constitution and maintaining fidelity to conservative principles."
- Vernon Robinson
To paraphrase P.M. Margaret Thatcher, now is not the time to go wobbly. Our country does not need RINO, inside-the-Beltway Republicans. Our country's survival and prosperity depend on the citizens electing solid, committed, conservative Republicans.
